This weekend is one of the busiest of the year, so you have plenty of options to choose from. Saturday has a lot of events, so fuel up with a big breakfast and pace yourself!

Thursday, October 2

Smithville Brewing Company: 6-8 p.m. Pumpkin figurine painting: Paint your own custom ceramic pumpkin for $7 (and add a tea light candle) and enjoy great food and brews. All ticket holders receive $1 off their beverages.

Friday, October 3

Smithville Music Festival Day 1: The 4th annual Smithville Music Festival kicks the weekend off with FREE live music from a stage set up on Main Street.

Community-Wide Garage Sale: 8a-3p (homes all over the city)

Grab a map at the Chamber of Commerce or drive around town to see what treasures your neighbors are selling! 

Smithville Heritage Museum Jubilee Brunch: 9-11 a.m. Join them to celebrate 50 years of preserving Smithville's rich history. Enjoy a continental breakfast by John Chabot (suggested donation $10), live music by Michael Redmond & Walter Winslett. Brunch guests will have the opportunity to browse and purchase books, local art, postcards, and other historic keepsakes with all proceeds going toward preserving and sharing Smithville’s story.  

Keep Smithville Beautiful Sustainable Home and Garden Show: 10a-2p Local, expert demonstrations and exhibitors; Fix-A-Flat Bike Repair; Sustainable products for sale; Jr. High Student Art Show & Activity for Kids; WM automated side load truck where adults/kids can sit in the cab!

Smithville Brewing Company: Hocus Pocus Girls’ Day 3-7 p.m. Grab your girlfriends for a magical Girls Day Out with activities including customizing your own trucker hat or cookie, and brews you won’t want to miss. The first 20 RSVPs get a FREE themed treat bag!
