Howdy Smithville and welcome to your Smithville Texas News Weekend Guide!
Tonight Mutt’s kicks us off with Open Mic Night and leads us into a weekend with plenty of entertainment options.
We’ve got our eyes on Wing Fest (yum yum!), but will be grabbing our dancin’ shoes for all that live music! Have a great weekend Smithville!

7-9pm: Mutt’s Last Stand: Open Mic Night! Got a song, a joke, or a story? Grab a brew and the mic! The stage is yours. Sign up in person or by phone as early as noon every Thursday.

7-9pm: The Front Room: Live music from Envy of Them All

9a-noon: 145 Taylor Street: Hazardous Waste Clean up Day. Paint only event and a voucher is required (must be filled out prior to drop-off).
11a-1p: Comfort Cafe: Music on the Patio featuring Eunice
11a-5p: Railroad Park: 7th Annual Wing Fest: enjoy some delicious wings, play chicken bingo, and bring your feathered friend for the poultry pageant.
5pm: Smithville Brewing Company: Wingfest After Party with live music by Tim Sparkman & Friends
College football is on at every bar in town!
LaGrange Events
6:30p: T+H Farms in LaGrange: Fall Concert featuring legendary Texas singer-songwriter Shake Russell. He has been dazzling audiences for three decades with his unique Americana style of folk-rock, and is probably best known for his hit "Deep in the West." You can grab tickets at this link.


10a-1p: Railroad Park: Smithville Farmers Market
11am: St. Paul’s Church: St. Paul's Catholic Church 2025 Fall Festival. There will be a live auction, raffle drawing, kid games, a cake wheel along with food concession stands and homemade items from St. Paul's Market.
4-6pm: Smithville Brewing Company: live music by Ruby Dice
